Once a mold problem is identified and confirmed, we will evaluate the problem, and will discuss the mold condition and extent of mold
remediation with you. If the problem is small and can be cleaned an removed by you we wil advise you of the proper methods.
GES
follows the recomendation of the EPA in recommending a DIY approach to mold cleaning. Generally if the area is less then 10 square
feet and does ot involve structural building components you can probably remove it yourself.
If the mold problem is one that will require our mold remediation services, after a through check of the problem and all of the
issues that go with a larger mold remediation project, such as access and containment procedures. You will be provided with a detailed
mold remediation scope of work. This document outlines everything we will do to remove the mold and prevent it from returning.
Each and every mold remediation situation is different. A small mold growth will not require the material or complex containment
system that is necessary for an extensive larege mold growth.
GES has sufficent equipment, such as air scrubbers, HEPA vacuums,
negative air machines, containment systems, and the required protective equipment is maintained to operate at multiple sites. All
personnel meet the strict requirements of OSHA's respiratory standard as well as the OSHA standard CFR 1910.120 for Hazardous Materials
and Emergency Response.
We have adopted current industry standards in under taking our mold remediation projects, preparing remediation
estimates and protocols.
The goal of any mold remediation project is to return your home to a normal environment comparable to
outdooors.
Post Remediation Testing
In some cases post remediation quality control testing may be necessary for remediation projects involving
a severe level of contamination, any contamination involving HVAC systems, and projects involving health concerns. Samples or testing
will be completed and will be sent to a third party independent AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association) accredites laboratory.
Results are maesured against outdoor or other compliant areas, to confirm a sucessful remediation.
